If I register for the combined CSHT and ASSH meeting - can I just attend the 1-day CSHT part of the conference?

The registration fee is just for the CSHT conference (member early bird rate $650 CAD until Sept 3rd) so absolutely, you can just attend the 1-day meeting for CSHT content.
But for this same fee - you also get to attend the ASSH (surgical portion) WITHOUT any additional cost. So really, it is up to you!
For reference, if you were to just register for ASSH meeting (not through CSHT), registration for their allied health ASSH rate is $910 USD. We simply partnered with ASSH to give CSHT attendees bonus access to their meeting.

Hotels with conference rates:

Because of our partnership with ASSH, CSHT attendees can access ASSH conference rates at several hotels in close vicinity of the Vancouver Conference Centre. Please book through ASSH’s housing provider ConferenceDirect: Attendee Housing | Hotel & Travel | ASSH Annual Meeting
CSHT does not have a separate conference rate at other hotels.

CEUs:

CSHT will provide 6.5 hours of total content eligible for HTCC Contact Hours for attending the CSHT Annual Meeting. Certificates will be provided*.
ASSH has a separate online platform which will allow CSHT delegates to track their attendance in order to receive the appropriate amount of CEUs for the ASSH.
*American attendees please note, while licensing requirements vary by state, we encourage attendees to consult their local state licensing board for confirmation. CSHT is confident that our program meets high professional standards and will be accepted by most state licensure boards.

Will the conference have a virtual option and/or will it be recorded for later viewing?

Unfortunately, the answer is no, we are not able to offer these options due to cost and organizational constraints.
