Letter From Organizing Chair for IFSHT 2013 India

Greetings to you from India.

As you would be aware India will be hosting the combined congress of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of Hand (IFSSH) and International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT) from 4th to 8th March 2013. We are taking every effort to make this a memorable occasion. We are very keen that we have a good number of therapists participate in the congress. The local congress organisers are very happy with the co-operation extended by the IFSHT President, Ms. Lynne Feehan and her team who are actively working along with us to make this possible. The delegate fee has been kept as low as USD 400 and we have made the President’s dinner inclusive for everybody.

Details of the meeting are available on the website www.ifssh-ifsht2013.com and registration and accommodation bookings are open. We have seen to that accommodations are available at all levels with top luxury hotels being available for less than USD 250 per day including breakfast and taxes to budget accommodation to around USD 100 for 2 persons per day inclusive of breakfast and taxes. Your President had the opportunity to see all the conference hotels . All the hotels also provide you free Wi-Fi services. Periodical complimentary bus transport between conference venue and hotels will make your travel even more comfortable. The local organisers will provide complimentary airport transfers for everyone who book their accommodation through us in our designated hotels.

We are also planning interesting accompanying persons sessions. So please come with your family. The conference closes on 8th March 2013. On 9th March 2013, a one day trip is planned to the famous Taj Mahal at USD 100 per person which will include transport in an air-conditioned bus and lunch at a star hotel in Agra. While we are sure that the Indian hospitality will be unmatched, the scientific content of the meeting will also be wonderful. The Executive Committee of the IFSHT has drawn up a wonderful scientific committee and they are doing their best to provide the best that is possible.
