Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary health care team in providing service to individuals with hand and upper limb rehabilitation needs. The OT will assess, recommend and provide treatment as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have current registration within the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario; he/she will have experience working with acute hand, wrist and elbow injuries either postsurgical or post-traumatic and experience with the fabrication of orthoses, and measuring/ordering burn garments. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Hand Therapy designation.

Applicants may be eligible for an incentive grant of up to $5,000 per year to a maximum of $15,000 paid over a three-year period through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Underserviced Area Program.
